Introduction

Armstrong Millworks, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our site or use our services.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily submit through our website, including:

  • Contact information (name, email address, phone number) submitted through our contact form
  • Project details or service inquiries you describe in form submissions
  • Any other information you choose to provide when contacting us

Form Submissions

When you send a form on this website:

  • What you entered is emailed to us so we can respond. That email stays in our mailbox until we delete it.
  • A copy is saved in this website's own form records, on the server that hosts the site, so that a lost email does not lose your request. We keep this copy until we delete it or you ask us to delete it. Files you attach are kept with that copy and are deleted with it.
  • An automatic confirmation is emailed to the address you entered. It says your message arrived and does not repeat what you sent.

We use form submissions to respond to you and to provide the service you asked about. We do not sell them or share them with anyone for marketing. They are handled by the companies that provide our email and our website hosting as part of delivering those services.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically:

  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website or search terms that brought you to our site
  • General geographic location (city/region level, not precise location)
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

Our web server keeps a standard log of each request: your IP address, your browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it for security and troubleshooting.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide requested services
  • Communicate with you about your project or service request
  • Improve our website and user experience
  • Analyze website traffic and usage patterns
  • Protect against spam and fraudulent submissions

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects data about page visits, session duration, and traffic sources. This data helps us improve our website and content.

Google Analytics uses cookies to track visitor interactions. You can block it in your browser by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts

Our website may use Google Fonts to display text. When you visit a page that uses Google Fonts, your browser connects to Google's servers to load the font files. Google may collect your IP address and browser information during this process. See Google Fonts Privacy for details.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. When you open a page that has a form, your browser loads the Turnstile check from Cloudflare, and Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical details about your browser and connection. When you send the form, our server sends Cloudflare your IP address and the one-time code from that check so Cloudflare can confirm it. We do not send Cloudflare what you typed into the form. For more information, see Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Our site uses the following types of cookies:

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They include:

  • Session cookies that maintain your browsing session

Analytics Cookies

We set analytics cookies from Google Analytics to measure site traffic and usage. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect your experience on our website.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our server
  • Secure form submission handling
  • Regular security updates to our website software

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of analytics tracking, as described under Google Analytics above

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
